---------------------------------------------------------------- Declaration: DirectVideo: Boolean; {Default = True} Unit: Crt Purpose: Turbo Pascal programs, like most programs written for the PC family of computers, perform output to the video display by copying their text and video attributes directly into the video memory. This provides the fastest possible screen updates. In some situations, this can result in the appearance of "video snow" or "static". When this occurs, set the CheckSnow variable to True (See CheckSnow). By setting DirectVideo to False, programs will perform their output by calling the BIOS video routines.
